Ingredients

  • Naan: Regular or mini naan. Choose plain or garlic naan depending on your flavor preference.
  • Pizza sauce: Jarred marinara, pizza sauce, or crushed tomatoes seasoned with salt and oregano.
  • Cheese: Shredded mozzarella is classic. Add a little Parmesan for extra savoriness.
  • Olive oil: For brushing the naan to help it crisp and add flavor.
  • Toppings (choose your favorites): Cooked meats: pepperoni, sausage, bacon, grilled or rotisserie chicken
  • Veggies: bell peppers, red onion, mushrooms, olives, spinach, cherry tomatoes
  • Fresh add-ons: basil, arugula, ricotta dollops, pesto drizzle, chili flakes
  • Seasonings: Salt, black pepper, dried oregano, garlic powder (optional).
  • Nonstick spray or parchment: For the air fryer basket if sticking is an issue.

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer: Set to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes. A hot basket helps the naan crisp.
  • Prep the naan: Brush the top lightly with olive oil. For extra crunch, brush the underside too.
  • Add sauce: Spread 1–2 tablespoons of sauce per naan. Don’t overdo it—too much sauce can make it soggy.
  • Cheese it up: Add a generous layer of shredded mozzarella. Sprinkle Parmesan if you like.
  • Add toppings: Keep pieces small and don’t overload. Use pre-cooked meats and pre-sautéed watery veggies (like mushrooms) for best results.
  • Season: A pinch of salt, pepper, and oregano goes a long way. Add a tiny bit of garlic powder for depth.
  • Air fry: Place naan pizzas in a single layer in the basket. Cook 5–7 minutes, until the edges are crisp and cheese is melted and starting to brown.
  • Finish: Rest 1 minute so the cheese sets slightly. Top with fresh basil or arugula and a drizzle of olive oil, if using.
  • Serve: Slice and enjoy right away while hot and crisp.
