Preheat your air fryer: Set to 350°F (175°C). A short preheat (2–3 minutes) helps the garlic bread turn crisp quickly.
Par-cook the garlic bread: Place the frozen slices or halves in the basket in a single layer.
Air fry for 2–3 minutes until they’re just starting to firm up but not browned. This prevents soggy bottoms.
Add the sauce: Spread 1–2 tablespoons of pizza sauce on each piece. Don’t overdo it—too much sauce can make the bread soft.
Top with cheese: Add a generous layer of shredded mozzarella, leaving a small border.
Sprinkle with a pinch of Italian seasoning for extra flavor.
Add toppings: Keep layers light so the cheese can melt nicely. Use thinly sliced veggies and pre-cooked meats. Press toppings gently into the cheese so they stay put.
Air fry to finish: Return to the basket and cook 4–6 minutes at 350°F (175°C), until the cheese is melted and lightly browned and the edges are crisp.
Check at the 4-minute mark to avoid over-browning.
Optional finishing touches: Sprinkle with Parmesan, crushed red pepper, and chopped basil or parsley. A light mist of olive oil on the crust adds shine and crunch.
Rest before slicing: Let the pizzas sit 1–2 minutes so the cheese sets. Serve hot.
