Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 2–3 minutes. Preheating helps the pancakes heat evenly and crisp slightly.
Arrange pancakes in a single layer in the basket.
Do not overlap. Work in batches if needed.
Air fry for 3–4 minutes for standard-size pancakes. For minis, start at 2–3 minutes; for thick or protein pancakes, try 4–5 minutes.
Flip halfway (optional): For extra even browning, flip at the 2-minute mark.
Not required, but helpful for some brands.
Check doneness: Pancakes should be hot throughout, soft in the center, and lightly toasted on the edges. If still cool in the middle, add 1 more minute.
Warm a second batch the same way if you’re feeding a crowd. Keep finished pancakes in the air fryer (turned off) for a minute or two to stay warm.
Serve immediately with butter and syrup, or dress them up with fruit, yogurt, and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
