Preheat the air fryer. Set it to 375°F (190°C) for 3–4 minutes. A hot basket ensures a crisp base.
Prep the muffins. Split the English muffins with a fork for a better texture.
Lightly brush cut sides with olive oil or spray for extra crunch.
Toast the bases (optional but recommended). Air fry the plain muffin halves, cut side up, for 2–3 minutes until the surface is lightly crisp. This step helps prevent sogginess.
Add sauce. Spread about 1 to 1½ tablespoons of pizza sauce on each half. Don’t overdo it—too much sauce makes them soggy.
Layer cheese and toppings. Sprinkle a generous layer of mozzarella, then add your chosen toppings.
Keep toppings in a single layer so they cook evenly.
Air fry. Arrange pizzas in a single layer in the basket. Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 4–6 minutes, until cheese is melted and the edges are golden. Check at 4 minutes; air fryers vary.
Finish and serve. Let pizzas rest for 1–2 minutes to set.
Add oregano, a pinch of salt and pepper, and optional Parmesan or fresh basil. Enjoy hot.
